How long have you been doing this?
Personally, I have been doing this for nearly 45 years. Others on the team, their experience ranges from 7 years to 35 years.
How many weddings have you played at?
Myself, very close to 3,000. The others vary from 50 to over 1,500.
Have you done events at my Venue?
Unless it is on personal property, we have played at the majority of Venues in this area.
What sets you apart from your competition?
I would like to say that it is our caring. We are in this because we care about our clients and the success of their function. Our longevity in this industry is because we put the needs of the client over ego. We want to do this, not have to do this. There is a different mindset when you enjoy what you are doing compared to just being there to make a few extra dollars.
Can you describe your style?
Each member of our team has a different personality and approach. Some are laidback, some are enthusiastic others are very interactive. They all know their music and concentrate on keeping people up and enjoying themselves. It depends on what you are looking for.
Are there any other services that you provide?
We can provide officiating services. However, we have teamed up with a list of industry professionals, and together we can create your total entertainment experience. Along with those listed under our Friends page, we also have connections with other entertainment specialists that can further add to the flavour of the event.
Can you offer ideas for my ceremony and formal dances?
Yes! we can. With our music library, we can offer songs that are fresh and unique.
How extensive is your music library or song list?
Our library includes over 125 years of music. Why so vast, because clients today want to create themed parties and weddings. Do something different. We are already prepared to handle this. We add to the master library on a daily basis, including what is on all the current charts. We try to stay ahead of the norm, leading the field when it comes to music.
What genres do you cover?
We cover all genres, including Dance, Country, Urban, Oldies, Big Band, Eurodance, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Disco and the list goes on. It’s tough to stump us when it comes to a request.
Do you have Multicultural music?
Yes!! We have more ethnic music than my competitors combined. We include nationalities like Latino (Spanish), Italian, French, German, Dutch, Polish, Croatian, South Asian, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Middle Eastern, and Caribbean, the list is over 75 nationalities. We too, update and add to our list on a monthly basis.

Do you have back-up?
Yes, we do. Whether it is a DJ or a piece of equipment, we can handle it.
Can you act as the Emcee?
MCing can mean a few things, from the introductions of the Bride & Groom to the cutting of the cake and the garter & bouquet toss. We would describe that as basic MCing. All our people can do that. But to handle the toasts, speeches during or after dinner, telling your love story acting as an intermediary between you and your vendors, we have a few that can do that. We call them professional MCs.
What does your rate include?
It will include our interviews, prep time beforehand, set-up and tear down and the time we are actually performing. We have various levels of experience in our team. The more experience the higher the fee.
How do you determine experience?
By the number of functions, they have done. Not by the number of years they have been doing it. Someone can claim 10 years, in which they roughly do 5 weddings a year, for a total of 50 weddings, or someone has 3 years, but does 20 a year, for a total of 60. Who has more experience?
Will I receive a contract?
You will receive a 2-page contract. Both parties must sign page 2. Upon receiving the retainer, we will then issue a receipt for the money. Then send you a 9-page planning guide, to help you along the way.
What are your terms?
Our fee will always be “plus HST”. We are reasonable with our retainer, we ask for $2OO.OO. The balance is due NO later than 2 weeks prior to the function. You have the option of paying the balance at our pre-planning meeting a month prior. The retainer is non-refundable but is transferable. You can transfer it to a later date, or transfer it to a friend or loved one. We accept etransfers, cash or cheques. We do not take credit cards. We can offer a payment plan for the function, but it must be paid in full prior. It is advisable to never pay your balance in full at the beginning of the process for any DJ service.
Travelling Charges?
We are not tied to Niagara, we are often requested to play at venues outside of our normal area. A travel charge will apply, and a flat rate will be included in our quote.
Do you do Same Sex weddings?
Yes we do, not only as a DJ but also as an Officiant
Do you take requests?
Our normal policy is that we do, beforehand and during the function. We will work with our clients prior to creating a playlist of their “gotta haves”, guest favourites and a “do not play list”. But requests are dependent on the client. We have done functions, where the client has said “no requests”.
What is your Housekeeping Policy?
A meal is to be provided to the DJ(s) if we are there for a certain period of time. No alcohol is to be served, not even after the gig. They can have water or pop. We ask our smokers to refrain until after the function. We do not take breaks. Our units are always maned. lf you feel the individual deserves a gratuity, by all means, although it is not imperative or required. For the function we will be properly dressed, for set up, most likely “grubbies”. lf you are pleased with our service, we graciously ask that you write a review either on Google or Wedding Wire or fill out our referral sheet.
What is required from Us?
If and when you decide that you feel our service meets your expectations, then we ask that immediately book. Dates fill up fast, do not leave it to the last minute. Provide us with all the information that you possibly can, especially your music preferences.
